Why does agriculture keep getting a climate pass?

In order to eat in the future, it is vital to both reduce agricultural contributions to climate change and to make agriculture more resilient when it comes to the climate shifts that are already inevitable. Why are these not more mainstream concerns? Because the changes we would have to make would undermine Big Ag’s profits and could very well change the whole structure of our food system, of course.
